Chemistry is closely linked with our daily life. It is concerned
with the soil and the environment around us. Man, by gaining
knowledge of chemistry, has converted the crude and raw materials
into useful products and has introduced and synthesized many new
products to replace the scarce commodities.
The
Chemical Hobbies Club of Cadet College Petaro provides the cadets
with an opportunity to learn the techniques and practical methods
for the preparation of some useful products on a small scale as well
as on a large scale. They become familiar with the formulae and
contributions of many of the products we use in our daily life.
The
cadets produce different kinds of products like fruit juices,
cosmetics, perfumes, syrups (of rose, sandal ,etc), balms, hair
lotions, and many other products.
