Khan Hasham Bin Siddique, kit no. N-43/Latif House joined Cadet College Petaro in 1975 in 11th Class as an "N" Cadet and left the college in 1977 after completing his Intermediate.

He was born on 1 April 1960. He got married to Mrs. Tehmina on 9 October 1987. They have three children - Ashmal, Miznah, and Nofel.

Khan Hasham was always a brilliant student. His academic career at Petaro was second to none. In the final examinations, he stood second in the Hyderabad Board during the F.Sc. (pre-engineering) Intermediate examinations in 1977.

He was also awarded the Stick of Honour at Petaro in 1977 due to his superlative performance.

Hasham joined Pakistan Navy on 1 January 1978 after passing out from Petaro, and got his commission as an officer in 1980 in the Operations Branch.

He undertook initial training at Britannia Royal Naval College UK and won the Sword of Honour as best All Round graduate. Later on, he graduated from National Defence Course from NDU Islamabad (being granted Masters in Joint Warfare and War Studies from Quaid-e-Azam University). He also graduated with an M.Sc. in Operations Research from Monterrey, CA, USA and M. Phil from NDU Islamabad in National Security. He has also qualified many professional courses including Surface Warfare Course from USA, Long Communication Course, Joint Services Staff Course and Armed Forces War Course from NDU

He has also been decorated with a Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military) award.

Khan Hasham has an illustrious career in Pakistan Navy with rich experience of various command and staff appointments in the navy and joint services organizations.  He has commanded Pakistan Navy Ship Shahjahan, Maritime Operations Training Complex (PNS Bahadur), Pakistan Naval Academy, Pakistan Navy War College and National Security College (NDU) Islamabad. In addition he has also served as ACNS (Plans), Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (Admin), Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (Operations). He also held the command of Multinational Maritime Task Force (CTF 150) at HQ US NAVCENT Bahrain.

He was appointed Commander of the Pakistan Fleet (COMPAK) in January 2013 and remained in this key position until May 2014. He the operational in charge of all PN ships, Submarines, Missile boats and Aviation units during this assignment. He was posted as Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (Projects) in May 2014, a position he still holds.

He was promoted to the rank of Vice Admiral in 2013 while he was COMPAK.
