was one of the finest sportsmen of his time. He
excelled in football, hockey and athletics. He was
a member of the college teams for all three sports
and was also a member of the Latif House teams. He
held college colours in all of these three sports.
He was short and stocky and was always the "back"
on the football field. It would be extremely
difficult to get past him to score a goal.
He played the
ICCST on behalf of the college in 1966 and 1967,
and became a member of the
in both of those years.
"Pa'i" Islam was into business, and at one point
in time he was the Managing Director of Friends
Textiles in Faisalabad. He moved to the UK and his
now settled in Glasgow.
