Dost Mohammad Baloch, kit no. 126/Jinnah House joined Cadet College Petaro in 1960 and left the college in 1964 after completing his Intermediate.

He was born on 27 November 1947 and got married to Mrs. Neelofer on 17 December 1976. They have four children - Faisal, Swaleha and Omer Farooq and Fahad.

Dost Mohammad graduated from Dawood College of Engineering and Technology, Karachi (DCET) in 1968 as a Chemical Engineering. He was from the first batch of DCET.

After graduation, he worked privately for around 3-4 years and then joined the Industries Department of the Sindh Government in 1972. After nearly 20 years of service with the government, he took premature long leave in 1991 while he was a Deputy Secretary. He finally obtained formal retirement from the government in 1998.

In the meantime, he joined Matiari Sugar Mills in 1991 and has been working there as the General Manager / Resident Director of the mills ever since.

Dost Mohammad Bhai is one of the most gentle of Petarians. He is a very caring person, and has a very high regard and love for Petaro. Whenever there is a key function at Petaro, Dost Mohammad Bhai is present there.

He has been very active with the Petarian Association as well over the years, and has been a member of the Managing Committee in different capacities in its early years.

During the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Cadet College Petaro on 24 February 2007, Dost Mohammad was the moderator of the first session of presentations and speeches.

His home is in Karachi, but he spends his week normally at Matiari.

Two of his brothers, Khan Mohammed Baloch 594/Jinnah and Dr. Abdullah Baloch 593/Jinnah are also Petarians and are my batch mates.
